The Cochrane Oral Health Group welcomes proposals for new titles for systematic reviews in the field of oral health from anywhere in the world.
Our remit is to provide the best possible evidence for decision making to clinicians, policy makers, guidance developers and consumers.
If you have a team of people available to work on a systematic review and you would like to submit a title, please note:
- The Oral Health Group is currently only registering titles based on interventions, not diagnostic test accuracy or prognosis. These two areas are complex and the Group has made the strategic decision to concentrate on the diagnosis of oral cancer, with a hand-picked team of experienced systematic reviewers.
- The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews is a high quality publication with a high impact factor. The Collaboration has clear expectations of authors and anyone submitting a title should make sure they understand what these are, read section 3.2.4 of the Cochrane Policy Manual to find out more.
- To proceed with registration, we also require evidence of at least two randomized controlled trials which meet the inclusion criteria of your review, and a CV from the contact author.
- The title must not overlap any registered titles, protocols or reviews. A full list can be found on our website, please check before submission.
