The Oral Health Group has published one new review and one new protocol in the May edition of the Cochrane Library.

Arthroscopy for temporomandibular disorders

The aim of this new review is to investigate the effectiveness of arthroscopy for temporomandibular joint disorders. Seven randomized trials met the inclusion criteria, with a total of 349 patients. Follow the link to read the conclusions.

Single crowns versus conventional fillings for the restoration of root filled teeth

A new protocol which outlines the details of a new review which aims to assess the effectiveness of restoration of endodontically treated teeth (with or without post and core) by crowns versus conventional filling materials.
